Exploration of Kilwa Kisiwani and Masoko Pwani: Embark on half-day excursions to explore the vibrant underwater landscapes surrounding Kilwa Kisiwani and Masoko Pwani. Whether traveling by local sailing dhow or motorboat, guests have the opportunity to encounter an array of marine life in these pristine waters.

Venturing beneath the waves, divers are greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors and textures. From metallic-blue starfish to giant clams adorned with royal-purple lips, the marine biodiversity is truly captivating. Keep an eye out for lionfish lurking among the coral shelves, their tentacles resembling a majestic mane.

Kilwa’s waters are also home to a variety of marine creatures, including five species of turtles, including the rare loggerhead turtle. While sightings of dolphins and whales are infrequent, the possibility of encountering these majestic creatures adds an element of excitement to every snorkeling excursion.
